At Character Capers, our mission is to encourage smiles and laughter. Explore our social media videos, receive personalized video messaging (coming soon) from our mascot costume characters in Northampton or join us in our silly capers. Let us bring a touch of whimsy and delight to your day, aiming the fun to anyone between the ages of 2 to 102, all can have a giggle at what we do bringing our character mascot costumes to life.

Chiggle is a lovely little chicken mascot whose heart is in the right place but she can't always get it right!
Fluffy, cute, her bestest friend is Coggle yet she's always wary of Fender the Fox.

Molo, the youngest of our mascot tribe of 3 apes and gorillas is a cheeky little monkey who is always larking about doing silly things. A bit of an extrovert, what he finds funny isn't always the other chimps 'cup of tea'!

Yelefunk, the most understanding and kind little Elephant you should ever wish to meet. Loves to listen, have a cuddle and make people smile.

Puzzle, well, what can we say about Puzzle. She's a bit of an enigma. A walking talking bundle of fun!

Millybottomus or Milly for short is quite a character as you can see. Easily distracted, she is partial to a new accessory and loves a charity shop!

Rompey likes to get up to all sorts of antics, especially making fun of the other characters. Loves his food although his table manners aren't the best!

Is he an old man or isn't he?
Our compere 'Robert Fairbrass' has been a crowd favourite at festivals for the last couple of years and we're proud to have him with us. Getting Laughs wherever he goes, at 84 years old don't let looks deceive you as he has been known to strut his stuff, pull off some shapes and do everything you wouldn't expect him to do! Is it a mask or isn't it?

Gangster Cat or GC for short, the boss who won't take no for an answer. A villain or just naughty, he is the mischievous one who likes to hatch a plan, get the other characters in trouble and sat at his desk watching from a far, he never likes to get his hands or paws dirty.

Siren the Panda is one of 3 pandas we have here at the 'Northampton Zoo' of character mascot animals. Likes to give authority with his sidekick 'Fleece', they keep the other characters in check so if one steps out of line, if it isn't Gangster Cat sorting it out, then 'Siren and Fleece', the panda police certainly will!

What we do....
Social media
As you've seen and the reason you probably found us; social media and video is our main aspect of what we do bringing fun and laughter into your home.
With silly capers and the odd quick quiz to get the mind going, we want to keep in with our motto
'Take a little moment, do a little wiggle, shake off the gloom and have a little giggle'!

As a new company, (and all very new to us) we aim to visit towns around the country for children and adults who have seen our work to interact with us in the form of photographic opportunities and to have fun.
Charity Events
Through social media videos showing the characters in action; we aim to instil fun with confidence so children can familiarise with the characters, look forward to interacting at established events and enjoy photographic opportunities whilst promoting the charities values.
Education - COMING SOON
We believe in the power of video social media to inspire and educate young people through thought provoking visualisation. A twist to learning through sight and sound; bringing interaction with those around them to solve rhymes, guess the capers and bring old fashioned values back that have slowly diminished over time.

Personalised Video Messages - (available late 2025)
Want something that little bit special for a friend, family member, work colleague or loved one? Then we offer short video messages with the character of your choice, sending the message you wish and forwarding the file to you for them to keep as a funny forever moment.
PLEASE NOTE. Our only character that talks is 'Robert' and therefore we can only show your message through visualisation on the screen or, at your request, ask Robert to be in the footage with your character choice to say the chosen message.
